Sunburnt country

Kata Tjuta, Northern Territory

The magnificent Kata Tjuta (formally known as The Olgas), glows an impossible red as the sun sets over the desert. It’s an incredible sight to witness, as the rock formations appear to be painted in brilliant shades of orange and red as the fading light moves over the ripples of its textured surface. It’s no wonder we call this amazing landscape ‘the sunburnt country’.
