Ross Sea, Antarctica
A pair of New Zealand Sea Lions play in the shallows off the beach at Enderby Island. On this day it’s a miserable, cold and wet day, but these guys don’t seem to mind. This is what they are built for. Otherwise known as Hooker Seals, this is one of the world’s rarest sea lion species with their colonies being found primarily in the subantarctic islands south of New Zealand.
