Ice cream castle

Ross Sea, Antarctica

Who’s king of the castle? Well, this adorable Adelie Penguin of course. Despite his awkward climbing ability, this penguin was super determined to reach the summit of this iceberg. Why? Maybe that wistful look is his longing to take to the sky and fly away. Or maybe it was just to check out the views?

Whatever the case, I Iove the contrast of his sleek black body against an incredible ice formation that looks for all the world like the top of a castle sculpted out of ice cream.
