Currumbin Rock, Gold Coast
A tidal surge flows back into the ocean in a river of cascading water and foam around Currumbin Rock. Crossing paths with that flow is the wash from the remainder of the beach, creating an intersection of competing water currents. It's a miracle I managed to keep the tripod steady enough in the shifting sands to capture this image, but somehow it held true.
