Buller's Albatross, The Snares : Subantarctic Islands

This is one of my favourite species of Albatross to photograph. The Buller's Albatross only nest in the New Zealand Subantarctic Islands region. This group were fishing against the towering rocky coastline of North East Island in The Snares. I love the late afternoon light here, contrasting against the dark shadows of the rocky cliffs.
