Salt Lake, Western Australia
A natural salt lake along the coast of Western Australia is blushing with colour in an incredible display of natures beauty. The different colours are formed by microorganisms, with the algae changing colour as the level of salinity increases.
The result is pure art, with paler pastel colours of yellows and pinks representing the least salinity, whilst the deeper reds are the result of the most intense salinity.
